Why Plan Ahead?

It can be a difficult and trying experience to make last minute burial arrangements immediately after a family member’s death. Many people now routinely choose to pre-plan to alleviate the many decisions for burial and memorialization. When you plan in advance, you are able to have the burial space of your choice by taking over your own arrangements. Relieve your children and family members of the stress of making costly decisions under pressure during an emotionally draining time is undoubtedly the main benefit to pre-planning your final resting place.

Another advantage of pre-planning is that you can pay for your arrangements through our Installment Payment Plan. We offer in-house financing with payment plans of up to five years.  We offer the ability to pay the balance interest free within the first twelve months.  All anticipated costs can be included in the Installment Payment Plan, including the gravesite, outer container and installation, and bronze memorial.

Our caring staff at Danville Memorial Gardens is available to assist you with the decisions you will have to make. This complimentary service will explain all your options and will answer any and all questions you might have about the process. We encourage you to make an appointment for a personalized tour of our grounds and facilities by calling 434-822-1617 or e-mailing us at myra.cassell@dalyseven.com.

Some of the important components of pre-planning include:

  • Making a choice – casket burial, crypt internment, or cremation

  • Selecting a burial site, crypt, or niche

  • Arranging for pre-payment of the burial site, crypt, or niche

  • Selecting a memorial for the gravesite

  • Considering additional memorial options, such as granite benches

  • Arranging for the yearly placement of flowers at the gravesite

Help take the burden off your loved ones by making your end-of-life
decisions in advance, in a calm and thoughtful atmosphere.
